A young caddy Danny Noonan is looking for a scholarship through Bushwood Country Club. In order to do so he has to win the caddy tournament and get in the good graces with Judge Elihu Smails. But, then Al Czervik comes into the picture, screwing with Judge Smails as much as he can. Al completely drives Smails nuts, eventually they challenge each other to a tournament. Al takes a secret ace of the clubs Ty Webb and Smails gets his friend the Dr. Beeper. Al acts like he broke his arm during the tournament and elects Danny Noonan, right away the judge is extremely pissed. Judge notifies Danny if he participates in the tournament it will cost him the scholarship, the outcome is suspenseful.
