A young kid witnesses his parents murdered right in front of him. Afterwards the boy(Bruce Wayne) inherits his father's fortune and vows to hunt down all the criminals in Gotham City as a bat. During which he eventually finds his parent's killer(Jack Napier), it's payback time! The movie was the best superhero flick of the 80s. When I first saw it as a kid, it made me so want to be Batman. A lot of people favor "Batman Begins" over this movie, but I actually like this one better. I'm not sure if Michael Keaton played Batman better than Christian Bale, I just liked the feel of the 1989 Batman a little better. It was a little more dark and mysterious. Either way, both movies kick ass!
